Every Child’s Safety, Dignity & Privacy is Non-Negotiable
At StudyQuark, world-class communication education starts with an uncompromised commitment to child safeguarding. Here is exactly how we screen mentors, protect data, and monitor virtual classrooms.
Our 4-Stage Educator Vetting Protocol
We reject over majority of applicants to ensure only qualified, high-empathy professionals teach your child.
Rigorous Background & Identity Checks
Educators complete identity verification, reference checks, and a background check before teaching.
selective Selective Acceptance Rate
We carefully review educator applicants against child-safety and teaching criteria before admitting them to StudyQuark's roster of 400+ vetted mentors.
Live Mock Auditions & Child Psychology Review
Educators present simulated teaching modules before senior pedagogical supervisors and must complete child safety sensitivity training covering positive reinforcement and safe digital communication.
Continuous Peer Auditing & Parent Feedback
Classroom interactions undergo randomized supervisory audits. Any drop in parent rating or student comfort triggers immediate supervisor review and support intervention.
Technical & Operational Safeguards
Institutional security built directly into our software stack, classrooms, and supervisory policies.
Single-Use Authenticated Classrooms
Our virtual rooms use dynamic single-use access tokens tied exclusively to the scheduled student and verified teacher. No anonymous attendees, link sharing, or unauthorized drop-ins are technically possible.
Recording & Retention
Live classes run in a moderated, parent-visible online classroom. Sessions can be recorded so guardians can review them.
Non-Biometric Speech Telemetry
Our speech analytics assess pace (WPM), volume modulation, and filler word frequency solely as an assistive rubric for human mentors. We never collect biometric voiceprints, facial geometry, or emotional profiling.
Child Safety & Privacy Principles
StudyQuark designs its child-safety and privacy practices around COPPA and GDPR principles; we do not claim formal certification under either framework.
Transparent Parental Oversight
Parents possess the absolute right to observe sessions live, review class recordings in their parent dashboard, request tutor reassignments, or trigger immediate student withdrawals without penalty.
Safety Response
We take safety reports seriously and work with the right contacts to address them as promptly as we can.
Classroom Code of Conduct
Non-negotiable ethical standards governing every educator and learner interaction.
Educators communicate strictly via official, recorded StudyQuark classroom and dashboard channels — private direct messaging, personal social media contact, or off-platform communication is strictly prohibited.
Constructive, age-appropriate language is mandatory: zero tolerance for sarcasm, personal ridicule, intimidation, or inappropriate subject matter.
Classroom video feeds must maintain professional backgrounds and appropriate attire by both mentors and learners at all times.
Children retain the right to express discomfort or request a pause at any time during a live session without academic judgment.
Mentors must promptly escalate any indicator of learner distress, bullying, or self-harm concerns to the StudyQuark Safeguarding Board.
Parents can request erasure of their child's data by contacting our grievance team.
